Allen Printing has been a family-run business since its inception. To trace its beginnings, in 1931, Mr. Allen started Allen Printing by printing short-run Christian publications for local religious organizations. As the years went by, he eventually transferred the business to longtime employee Howard “Bunkus” Crump. Building on that foundation, his step-grandson Tony Pack took over leadership of the printing company. In the next chapter of its story, the company was passed down to Tony’s daughter, Shannon, and her husband, Paul Heffington.

Throughout these changes, one thing has remained constant: Allen Printing is about family. As a result, those long-held family values continue to shape the company – through the owners, through the employee culture, and ultimately, through the service provided to our customers.

An award-winning marketer, Kevin launched our Boston office, taking a huge step forward in making Dexen a global brand. He’s responsible for our brand strategy and making sure we stay close to our customers.
Kevin’s two big passions are the ocean and music. He has a formidable record library – with his purple vinyl of Purple Rain the jewel in his collection.
